The thought of quarantine will be traumatic, if not positively frightening to you. Perhaps it will help if I briefly outline our philosophy towards quarantine.

We believe we must ensure the dogs are happy. We encourage them to enjoy this period in their lives. At the same time we never lose sight of the fact that they have a relationship with you, as part of the family. They are here on trust. We must never do anything to upset that relationship. It would be a betrayal  of trust. That we succeed is evidenced by the fact that when they return home they carry on as if they had never been away. There are no changes in behaviour, no emotional or psychological hangups and no health problems as a result of quarantine.

 I expect you to be sceptical at this stage, everyone is.

To achieve this we provide units larger than the ministry specification, fully heated throughout (not pads or lamps), with comfortable fur fabric bedding which is changed as frequently as necessary, never allowed to remain if wet or soiled. We provide toys, a fleece on the bedroom/playroom floor so the dogs have a clean attractive play area, a treaty box full of treats and the appropriate grooming brush for tangible comforts. And as much attention as it takes to ensure each and every animal is happy, a high standard of hygiene to ensure their health is not compromised together with a very high standard of health care.
